| junior beginner bows Hi all, We tend to use the wooden handle takedowns for all the beginners courses. We have not had that many youngsters and have applied a 13yr age limit in the past. Anyway we have now made a few exceptions for kids of family members who are between 10 and 12 plus one 12yr old is shorter than average. Anyway what bows do you use for the sub 25" draw lengths and are thin enough in the grip for small hands ? We have a few "jelly bows" but the takedowns look better to kids. How about the rolan junior 54"... many in use out there ? G. |

| We used to buy the wooden take-down 54" bows, but the quality seems to be falling - the limb pockets are fragile and keeping the newer bows reasonably straight is, well, a waste of time trying. So we bought a couple of the Rolan 54" and are quite happy with them so far. And we got the Innovation all plastic limbs and they seem fine, too. John |
