Doing the coaching courses without mentors or tutors must have been fun

Good job (for the rest of us) that the Lord saw fit to invent the internet and forum, with the magical ability to ask questions over great distances.

A trainee coach at our club has recently started this awards scheme and it is proving to be very popular especially with new juniors.

As a side issue, for those of you running the Fita awards, where do you get your badges? I ordered badges direct from Fita 4 weeks ago, they charged my credit card but didn't process the order!! After several emails i had to send them a copy of my statement to prove i'd paid and was promised last wednesday that the order had been sent...................nothing received as yet.

As its easter i'll give it a few more days but I just wondered what others have experienced.

Well theres 2 assumptions you got wrong

1) that a Lord exists

2) that Magic exists

WHAT !!! You actually managed to order direct from FITA.
I was told I had to go via the GNAS.
Please explain how you manage to get around the system

No problem. I wouldn't normally, you understand, but six masculine pronouns was just too much for me!

Go to Fita's website and click on the shop link, they cost €2 each. But be warned if the 'Verified by VISA/Mastercard' comes up and you enter your details, it'll crash and your order won't be recorded but you'll still be charged!
You'll then have to chase it up with Fita which is where I'm at now (5 weeks later).........

Edit - Have just found the order form on GNAS website for these badges and the cheeky beggars are charging £4per badge. Even with the exchange rate and P&P they only cost £1.65 each from FITA!!!

And I wondered why coaches got such a bad press.
