Making form changes typically involves a period of flux, during which results can be erratic. Some people get stuck in the flux - they try and "fix" their way out of it, when what they ought to be doing is shooting instead of fixing.
Sounds like we're in agreement then.

Worry

I worry that I wont shoot well in a comp, then worry when my arrows hit each other in a tight group in the 10 zone. Last night shooting a Worcester, I damaged 4 of my arrows in 1 end with just me shooting on the target. I finished and won the cup as the archer with whom I tied with on points, actually missed with one shot, I have just seen the results on the club site, and was convinced that he had won as he scored more whites. No I did not enjoy the shoot as I was chasing a c class score which I did not get. On tuesday I will shoot for fun and do my best with no pressure, unless I have to score for people, then i worry about the maths. Not wearing my glasses does me no good when scoring either.
