| Amazingly I have bought loads of arrows, points etc over the years I have advised my club members for a starting point on arrows And used numerous archery shops And not one of these suppliers has ever offered this service Could you let me know who does have this, and I can point my members in the best direction |

It's a long drive for you, we don't actually use the BFM for arrow selection but do have our unique carbon arrow by trial service used by quite a few on here. Currently evaluating the performance of the BFM to our manual service of actually shooting arrows to select the best spine match. I did make a mistake on the BFM functionality though it only calculates your arrow spine from the Bow Force Curve (compound only takes peak weight for recurve (not arrow speed through chrono)). You have to tell it Type of arrow: Youth, Target, Hunting or Beman - Arrow length - Recurve, Compound or Longbow - For compound hard/single, medium or soft cams - point weight 75,100,125,150 or nearest - any overdraw and finally release type fingers or release aid. From all this data it will recommend all the Easton Arrows and appropriate spine. You can run the scenario as many times as you wish changing any of the parameters. It does loads more stuff for form analysis/bow tuning and this is where we see it adds real value. |

| Whiteheart We consider ourselves to be quite central, because we are loads of miles from everyone, but we do get around a fair bit so may see you one day soon But I looked at your site for the information about your try an arrow selection service and I have to say it is great to see that you have invested what is sure to be a not considerable amount of time, effort and cash into arrow selection for your customer archers (N.B. I am not paid to say I like it nor do I have any connection with Perris) I did note that you do agree that many archers are shooting arrows that are simply not good enough working from the charts themselves, "The arrow charts get you 50% of the way but it's the final 50% which is important" From the writing part of the description on your web site I hazard a guess that the extra inputs from the Easton hi tech set up get the arrows about 70 to 80% right and then it is a matter of trying a selection of shafts, points, fletchings etc until the archer has the right ones What a great service and I wish it was available down here for my club members Although then maybe my opposition would shoot even better, so maybe not that great an idea |
