KC, the BEST stringer for you is the ArrowheadUK stringer. It's non slip and if you use two feet, even the most petite lady can string her own bow. I gave one to an older woman at my club who struggled with stringing and she LOVES it.

I use an Arrowhead stringer too..and it's brilliant..but I do use both feet as I find it a lot easier to reach the end of the bow as it is a 70".

Hi Leigh,

What an excellent stringer from Arrowhead. As a result, I have just had a nice conversation with David Howell, who runs the outfit, he used to be a local lad and we had a good chat about the past.

Two stringers are on the way to me as we speak - so you have helped two people - what a good start to the day !!! sorry it's not wine!

OB...If you didn't use one, it would be a bit worrying!!!!

I've got one too, and can't fault it. Using 2 feet would definately help.

Hi Kissycat
Have you tried a different stringer instead of the normal ones that are on sale try Gompy Bow Stringer - Top/Top Ref: 701080 at Merlin Archery Merlin Archery; Gompy Bow Stringer - Top/Top
This type of stringer is better, I think, I use one, because it goes from tip to tip not half way down the limb which is liable to slip.
Good shooting
Brianpaul

Nope. Sorry, BP. I had one of those Gompy stringers and they pale in comparison to the ArrowheadUK stringers. They get knotted, too. Kissy, take it from me, OB, and all the women who have become ArrowheadUK stringer converts. It truly is the best and easiest stringer to use.

And, NO, I am not sponsored by or paid in any way by OB or ArrowheadUK. His products are just the bestest.

And Alexam, I'm glad you caught up with OB and got yourself a couple of stringers. You won't be sorry!!

Thanks Leigh, I hadn't realised that OB was David .. so it's noce to link up with another person on the site.

I also have tried the other stringers and they are not easy.

hard to tell who's who behind the nicknames, but it's a nice surprise when you find out you know someone.

This should sort you out
