forget about aiming

focus on performing the perfect shot and just point it at the target and you will find that you eye will automatically centre the site in the middle

I reach my anchor above the gold and then drop my shoulders down and relax them to get the pin on the gold. With a compound I can't aim at all during the draw, mainly because I can't see through the peep.

Don't forget as well, that after a few seconds, when aiming, the eye will tire, and acuity of vision reduces after 8 to 10 seconds. So if you have to keep at full draw, say due to a breeze pushing you off, it pays to come down and start again. This will probably be more applicable to compounder's perhaps.

Also, if your stance is good, you will be on line with the gold anyway, so you should be pretty much on the spot as you draw. Do they still call it "addressing" the target? Name for things change especially as It's 33 years since I did "beginners lessons"

I couldn't care where my sight is while I aim, only care where it is when my release aid fires.
Don't care how much I breathe either.

You guys are seriously over analyzing again. Go do SPTs.
