| limb flap and tiller At the GDB windsor yesterday, someone made a comment that my limbs were flapping/wobbling/moving inconsistently after my release. Do limbs do that or should they move in sync? I have noticed that my tiller is now zero when it had been set at a 5mm difference. I have checked that the limbs were seated properly and they seem to be. I've strung and restrung and taken the limbs out and put them back and the tiller still shows zero. I have markers on my limb bolts, so I know they haven't moved and my bracing height is correct. Any suggestions?

| Have they always done this, but no one has mentioned it before or have they just started. If they have always done this, try them with a different long rod. I have seen limbs flap/wobble with a Cartel rod then when a Multi rod set up was put on no/very little movement from limbs.

| Just a little info for the analysts out there - It was I who made the comment to Leigh . I noticed that the top limb tip seemed to flutter as it came to rest following each shot that I saw, I did not see the bottom limb tip . There was no appreciable rotation of the bow following the shots that I saw. That purple anodised riser is waaaaaay cool I was shooting like a muppet again, The day was made very pleasant indeed by my target companions and Leigh who was close enough to chat to. |

| limb flutter, as the string hits the bow on release in an ideal world there should be NO flutter as you call it. the bow is obviously not set up . so therefore it is not tuned. sorry leigh. |

| Did you have your limbs in upside down? ![]() |

| When did you measure the tiller initially? As i find that, even after bedding my limbs in, after the first couple of shots the limbs bed in slightly more and change the tiller, bracing height etc slightly!

| No I didn't change my tiller. It's been like that the last several times I've measured it. No, the limbs were not upside down. I shoot a Cartel longrod, so perhaps I shall try others to see. I disagree with you Pete.

| If tiller was previously set at 5mm and is now at 0mm, this would suggest that something is moving - although if you have markers on the limb bolts and you are sure they haven't moved, well, what do you believe? Would need to see the bow to make an informed guess... ![]()
