Just got my Helix. 100% better than the NX Xpert I had before. It fits the hand like a glove. When I shoot it last night very little vibration. the bow felt right.

These are just the holes for fixing the grip to the riser, they are drilled through on the Helix, but are not, and cannot, be used to adjust the grip position.
The Helix has three main "characteristics";
  1. The Helix Shape effectivley shortens your arrows by 1/2inch
  2. The sight block screws are closer to the arrow shelf
  3. The grip is like no other bow, and you have to hold it to understand the amazing difference this makes

I don't try to hide it, in fact, I couldn't hide it if I tried, I love my Helix

Admittedly, I wouldn't of upgraded to it, If it wasn't for the fact that my Avalon broke, because it is an "expensive grip upgrade", but i'm so glad I went for it!

Shot a Helix (42lb on fingers G3's) for the first time yesterday and it is the first international fit bow to make me think about changing from my beloved and trusty Whitehart and the grip shape is also very similar.

I haven't tried one or even picked one up! BUT 2 members of Aire Valley have sold their Helix in favour of different bows!

It is a lovely bow, but I'm looking at mine - which won't be shot for who knows how long now I'm switching to barebow - and wondering whether I should sell it on to a good home.

John,

If you do, I may be interested.

Okay Dave, consider yourself at the top of the list.

I will be thinking about this quite carefully. I reckon I'll shoot barebow for a few months and then break out the target gear once or twice to see whether I'm still disenchanted with it.
