| Best personality for archery? I had a look around the web today for articles and whatnot that might have looked into the best type of personality for competitive archery - type A, type B, introvert, extrovert, etc. (I don't mean characteristics like hard working, focussed, etc.) Couldn't find anything specific, but I was curious to know your opinions.

| I dont think you can say a kind of personality is suited to this sport as it is such an individual sport, anyone can do it and achieve a good standard with the right attitude (P.S. Ask OB about an international he went on once and found how many Leo's there were on the trip!!!!) ![]() P.P.S. What are all these long words from ASW? Some of us really dont like or understand them.

| russian sports psychologists and a certain scotland team manager :Craig Brown have very successfully designed innovative and effective measures of tenacity. The important point is that the simple pigeonholing of individuals into such broad characteristics as introvert or extrovert etc do not approach the important issues

| I would have to bow to your superior knowledge in the field - and I appreciate fully that the subject is far more complex than laymans terms will allow - so is there a publication/document that might go some way to explaining it in terms we'd all understand but is never the less accurate?
