we had one guy come to us who had been taught that technique. he has about reached the limit of consistancy with it but he never misses the boss. we have tried to get him to change to under chin anchor but hes quite stuborn. not helped since he only turns up every couple of weeks.

i think part of the problem might be that most of us arent particularly willing to coach and we all want to shoot ourselves (pardon the pun) and could really do with some coaching ourselves/we arent really qualified to coach.

we tend to go for: start them shooting, watch them for a couple of ends. leave them. IF they become good by themselves start conscripting them into the team and/or flog old equipment to them. IF they dont then try coaching again and charge them for smashed arrows lol.
