brace height is a bit low to get poundage down. i almost always use a bracer. will only shoot without one for a couple of arrows e.g. i forget to put it on or im packing up and a friendly bet goes to sudden death or to check that this is still happening.

yeh i use a finger sling. i really dont know whats happening. i have long and short rods so wouldnt expect the bow to turn that much in such a short time.
its not a particularly hard hit, i can shoot a 6 arrow end and my arm will just look like somone slapped with with a 12" ruler. i still have nerves in the area and they dont tell me it hurts more than a ruler slap either.
anyhoo im probably gonna join a proper club over the summer with people that know what they are doing and im gonna make a boss at home and actually tune my bow which has never been done. this might fix the "problem".
im thinking a high speed camera would be a usefull training aid in archery *mouse heads for ebay*
