| A very interesting book indeed. For me, the best bit about it was the description of the 11 steps of the shot. Thanks to this section, I finally understand how to set up and execute a "push" shot, and have been able to reproduce it several times since reading the book. I find some of the technical sections to be a little biased, but then I would expect that. The translation into English is by no means perfect. Fortunately I am an English graduate and tech author by trade, so my English comprehension skills are pretty good. However, I did need to read some sections several times over. All in all, I'd say it's an invaluable addition to any target or field archery bookshelf, which should also include Total Archery, The Simple Art of Winning, Understanding Winning Archery, Archery in Earnest and James Park's books. |

| A book with an enormous number of answers but obviously not the space to give many explanations. You feel it needs a supplementry "THA Compendium" in ten volumes to devote a few pages of explanation to each paragraph in the original book. On the technique side when the associated video is published that should be a great help. Not a beginners book but for experienced coaches/archers a bible.

| Absolutely great book! The bit that gets me laughing though, is about his fitness schedule. " ... some running ..." , "... some cycling ..." Accompanied by pictures of him, Michele, indulging in these activities. If you look at the background in the picture of him "running" the people are creasing themselves laughing. My take on this is to add "... some pasta, and a little vino ..." as I am more than slightly suspicious that he has his tongue firmly wedged in his cheek. As he says the best exercise for shooting arrows is just that. Certainly the Koreans seem to think so although I don't know if they do any other "exercise" for archery.

| It is the most user friendly book on the market and a must for beginners, it will show up a shoddy coach in two seconds flat and prevent you being led down the road to being average. It is advanced archery explained with simple words and great photographs. It is also good as it gives the pros and cons of different techniques. The push, expansion and the pull. 40 pounds for that much knoledge is criminally cheap. Michele running is slightly amusing, but about the koreans, yes they do other fitness training. A korean kid was on sagi and i hard storied from archers here that went to korea. They get up early and run, shoot two fitas a day running to the target, and the coaches make them leap to the target and or beat them with sticks is they make a foolish shooting error. Look on sagi about what the user "samickagullaultra" had to say. Facinating.

| Great book! It isn't as prescriptive as Total Archery - rather, it encourages the archer and coach to think more deeply about things and find what's best for them. Loads of good info to base those thoughts on. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
