| Clicki, listen very carefully for I shall say this only once!! Remove your rest and replace it at a slight angle so that the bottom tangent of the arrow just touches it and doesn't "lay"along the rest. This will make the arrow fall in towards the riser/button and not fall off as you draw. Easy!!! |

| I went through a patch of this whilst my draw length was increasing. I got though it a long time before I got a clicker and it was 100% my fault and 0% the equipment....nothing much changes LOL | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| At what stage in the draw does the arrow fall off the rest? Near the start or near the full draw or.....? |

| Are you using a clicker, Clicki? If so, how strong is it? If your arrow comes off at full draw, it may be that the clicker is putting pressure on the button, and as soon as the clicker is off the arrow the button flicks the arrow off. Happened to me last year - took me ages to find that one.

| Geoff - the arrow falls off approx. mid draw. It's not been as bad lately, so perhaps it had to do with my weak shoulder. Thunk - I'm not using a click yet.

| If the arrow falls at about mid draw, it could be the finger just below the arrow. As the string bends and squeezes the fingers together, that finger presses up from below and lifts the arrow off the rest. This is usually accompanied by the arrow hanging nearly level a couple of inches or so away from the rest before it eventually falls down. If the arrow falls away quickly, it is more likely to be the rest sloping down hill; rest out of level or canting the bow for a while during the draw. |

The arrow does fall away quickly and I've had one of the coaches watch me shoot to check for all aspects. She says she doesn't see me canting the bow.

| With a single nocking point, what keeps the back of the arrow up in the desired position? Is the nock fit fairly tight to stop it from sliding down the string? With a tight fit, any string movement can travel into the arrow and bring it off the rest. Also, the wrist bent in towards the riser at the pre-draw, will, as the wrist straightens later on, cause the string to turn. A tight fit can pass the turning to the arrow which is in the direction that is away from the riser. If you trim the tab, take material off the edge that fits under the arrow. |
