Friday evenings indoor (school gym) and outdoor (cricket field).

Unlimited access to the clubs field course.

25m range set up on my driveway with floodlighting, and 9m inside the garage.

Guess I'm pretty lucky.

Now I've just got to get everything together for the Olympics. Spending too much time on the forum.

i shoot once a week indoor at the club if possible im a shift worker
however the club has sole use of outdoor field which is near enuff to me to practice as much as i want depending on weather

i also have a 9m indoor range in extension so can also shoot there if the wife and kids arnt watching tv lol shooting into a merlin superbutt indoors and that stops my bow at 9m 40# compound

would always like to shoot more distance but cant extend anymore the neighbours house in the way lol

We have an open access range at uni, so I'd normally shoot about 2/3 hours a day 5 or 6 days a week.
Plus a competition every other weekend or so.
And thats enough for me, any more and I stop being able to concentrate.

Ahh! Gunmender shoots at Andover, if I'm not very much mistaken!

Best I can manage is 2 hours Monday and Friday during the indoor season. When outdoors we have a field with open access and wheeled target stands. All we've got to do is whip-off some waterproof covers, wheel them to the chosen distance, and shoot.

During the winter I only shoot on wednesday nights which is the indoor club night and then at weekends if the weather ain't too bad. Each session is about 2-3 hrs, maybe more if i'm not feeling too tired.

You can definately over do it though, when I first started last summer I was shooting every day in the afternoons/early evenings. Got to my first comp that I had been practising for and was a spent force . I couldn't understand why I shot so bad but it was just down to the fact that I was physically and mentally tired.

Will probably do the same this summer though...

Right now virtually zero as am- dram have nicked the indoor hall..

Once they're done, twice a week- Thursdays 7-9 & Sundays either 5-7 or 7-9,(starting tonight, hallelujah!) free choice as we have the hall all day.

Can't commit to much more!
