You won't actually need the Coaching Manual straight off. Most of what you need to know at Level 1 is in the Student pack. It would be handy if you were considering going higher up the Coaching ladder.

Check with the office for prices - they weren't up on the website when I looked.

the coaching manual is well and truly out of date, why do they still sell it at £27-00 . i was told by a very well known and approved senior coach to throw it in the bin

The coaching manual could do for an update no doubt but I'm not throwing mine in the bin Still loads of good stuff in it. Have you had a chance to look through one?

As I understand it at the moment, the Level 1 course, is the all new singing and dancing one (we are lead to believe), so maybe what you speak of would then be defunct anyhow??
Maybe something may miraculously appear in the next coming week.

I am assuming the old coaches manual will be reworked or some of it used for the level two course. But I could be totally wrong?

Brian

I wouldn't be too sure about the Coaching Manual being reworked... The level 2 course will have some stuff in it which may be of interest.

Of course, as they say at the BBC, "other books are available".

OK, so the old coaches manual will be defunct soon ? If not much of it is going to be used for the new level 2, 3 etc then I would have to agree it's not a very good buy.
