| If they are travelling left as the distance increases it would be an initial diagnosis of a stiff arrow, but it could also be pressure button to far out, or something as silly as the sights vertical track not running exactly parallel with the bow string if it's running down with from right to left it will send your arrows to the left as you move the sight block down the track.

| Do a walkback test, it should sort out most of the problems like button position and arrow stiffness (or lack of...) But first do a paper test to correctly adjust the nocking point height and try and find if you can have control on the arrow behaviour with the button adjustment : try and have the arrow make "stiff" and "weak" holes. |

| i had exactly the same problem this weekend at the pentref shoot, shot red peg in the field for the first time so all my archery has been indoors. i have a good tune indoors and usually group in the gold, occasionally in the 9 ring. Went out on the practice butts to get my sightmarks for long range and they all drifted left. i didnt want to move the pin much so i tried lowering the button pressure, about a half turn lower brought them into the centre and still has good clearance.

| Thought I'd mention it as you post some good advice on this site which might be ignored by those who just look at the 3rd class and make 2+2=5 |

| arrows going to the left What everyone else said, but also make double sure that your bow is vertical. If you cant the bow so that the top limb is to the left of the bottom one, that will send the arrows more left at longer distances.

| Thanks for all the info. I had a play with the button this afternoon and shot a few arrows in the garden to test it out. Will see what happens at the club session tomorrow. If I'm still drifting left, I'll get someone to watch me shoot to check things are level. Will have to check the sight is properly vertical too. |

| Sometimes, when the windage is set at close range, it is slightly off centre but goes unnoticed until the error is magnified with the increase in distance.Set the windage when shooting at maximum distance then see what happens as you shorten the distance to the target. |
