Unhappy Two Day FITA Field in ESSEX

Panther Feild Archery Club are hosting a two day FITA field combined round on the 2nd and 3rd of June. This shoot is record status and qualifying scores can be counted for squad selection. Maybe we are panicking a little to soon but so far we only have 8 entries. The closing date for entries is the 23rd of May, if you are planning to come along please let Robin know either by using the entry form http://www.gnasfield.co.uk/efpanther07.pdf or contact by post or phone. Robin Frost, 62, St Anthony’s Drive, Chelmsford, Essex CM2 9EJ. Tel 01245 257782. or even by email ro.frost@blueyonder.co.uk
If this shoot is well recieved it could well become an annual event. It would be a great shame to have to cancel this shoot due to lack of support.

Hi Rachel

No its not difficult, some would say its easier as you are shooting at roundal targets on bosses in clear open lanes. so you have less chance of losing arrows. Others would say it is not as intresting and challenging as 3ds.

Its just diffrent to Target or 3ds. I am sure you would enjoy the shooting, as would Joe. Distance wise the furthest target is 50m unsighted and the closest 5m.

You would be fine with the longbow or why not come sighted and shoot frestyle recurve?

Auntie Vi will be doing the catering so I will be able to buy you both

Thanks, Neil, you always explain things so well!

I don't have enough arrows to shoot lb, unless I get all the bits quickly and get making! I am tempted to try freestyle just for the hell of it, tbh... I'll check the diary, and ask Joe!

We only need one thread announcing this event and this is the proper forum for it. Don't forget to list it on archeryOrganiser!

Whereas we need two threads about a boss falling over

Shout loud about this event, it would be a shame to loose it just because people don't know about it!

Kae.
