Well done to all the Juniors and especially the medal winners. Getting to the Europeans is an achievement in itself and then to win medals is even better.

Lets hope they can keep it going for the 2nd leg of the Junior European Cup in the Ukraine in 2 weeks time.

Also fingers crossed for the seniors at the world championships next week. Lets hope they can do at least as well as the juniors.

simon1977 has completed all 6 rounds of either the Archery Interchange VGP or Winter League
WL Ranking: 2008 Compound Division 1, 1st Place
SL Ranking:

I went out to watch it, got back on Sunday am.
I've got to say apart from a couple of hicups (electronic scoring packing up, realising that they didn't have a copy of the Polish anthem at prize giving etc) it was a very well organised event (and bloody hot!!!). The web site isn't that great granted and I know the results weren't bang up to date but the pda scoring packed up just after the cadets finished qualifying so they had 3 1/2 days of tranferring scores from paper to pc with no help from running slips etc .

Special congratulations to Tom, Jake, Matt R, Matt G and a special damn bloody harsh luck to Matt Arnold (damn linecutters!!!) for their silver medals and well done to all 16 for doing us proud

Judging by this photo (Targets at Junior Europeans) they seem to have an interesting use for car tyres to "peg" the targets down. Does this really work??

Grant, there was a posting last week (see GNAS Junior Team For Portugal) that listed the Junior team. It was in response to your thread about announcing teams. However, I agree 100% with you that this kind of information should be readily available on the GNAS website. We shouldn't have to rely on this forum to get this kind of information.
I think you will find that the targets in the picture are the ones they used on the practice field, which was an artifical surface, hence the need to do something a bit different!

Well done to the Juniors, particularly the medal winners.
