Question GNAM Cancelled
Hi all, I just heard a rumour that GNAM has been cancelled, can anyone confirm this? Something to do with the field being flooded at lilleshall.

There is nothing on the GNAS website yet.

GNAM Cancelled
Nick Forster has called GNAS to confirm that GNAM has been cancelled due to flooding! Please contact GNAS for further information.

I can confirm this I phoned the GNAS at 15:45 this afternoon, they told me that the wed-friday shoot had been cancelled as the field had flooded and the lake had overflowed at one point today people were stuck in the complex.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news hopefully we may get another event.

I know this may be of little comfort to many, but there are a *FEW* places left at the Cheltenham Archers Summer Tournament this Sunday 1st July.

It is Rose Record Status shoot, with York, Herefords, and Natioal.

You can leave me an email at a_j_paterson@hotmail.com if you are interested in a place. I was going to be sending the target list out today, so if people get back to me today that would be great.

It's now on the GNAS web site:

GNAM 2007 CANCELLED
At lunchtime on Monday 25th June 2007 NSC Lilleshall advised GNAS that the ground at Lilleshall was waterlogged and could not be used for the GNAM. Accordingly we have had no option but to cancel the GNAM.

Entry fees will be refunded in due course.

GNAS PREMIER EVENT 2007
The staging of this event will depend on the recovery of the ground, a decision will be made on Thursday 28th June.

It is not a rumor I have just had a phone call from Ted Burnam to say the GNAM is cancelled.

He said to check on the GNAS website as we get close to the weekend to check whether the the premier event is still on.
