Correct me if i'm wrong...but GB have a maximum qualification (3 gents, 3 ladies), due to their fantastic performances today in the team events, where both have made it to the final 4 teams,(to go along with some pretty good individual performances).

If i am correct....well impressed!!!!

Absolutely brilliant news. With a full compliment for Beijing and with the team members pushing each other harder and harder, it looks like GB is becoming a force on the international recurve scene.

Fingers crossed they'll bring home more than the one guaranteed medal

Absolutely brilliant news! Well done all the GB archers and the support team with them

For anyone that is interested, there is a full list of the allocation of Olympic qualifying places on the FITA website. Hopefully these links work: Mens Quota Places Womens Quota Places

Great fun "watching" the finals on the arrow-by-arrow 3d updates. It's a pity that the updates were a tad slow, and seemed to be removed before the end of the match, as each next match started. This didn't happen in the Gents recurve Final, as Littler Furface and I cheered on the Russian - who lost.
All the matches seemed to be nip and tuck, though the winners all seemed to be the ones who could pull out the 10s when it mattered.

Congratulations to the British lads - fantastic achievement.
