Clothing

I am taking part in a couple of tournaments that have GNAS clothing standards. I have got some cricket whites which have been sitting in the wardrobe for a number of years and would like to use them for the tournaments. The only problem being that cricket whites are more of a cream colour and not brilliant 'DAZ' white.

Will they be acceptable or will I be told to remove myself from the shooting line?

Cricket whites are often not white, as you've discovered. However, you may be able to talk to the organisers. If it's a record status shoot, then you would need to have to correct colours, but the organisers of local shoots can be prevailed upon to let novice archers use clothing that is close to the right colour. Explain the situation and ask them if you can wear cricket whites - the worst they can say is no!

If your cricket whites are not suitable....best bet is to buy from Workwear suppliers. Pair of painters white trousers should only be about £10
