Nimes 2008

Target list is out for this tournament (nearly 1000 archers, and the target list is 24 pages long!)

I'm surprised there aren't more Brits there though? None of the top flight GB recurvers are there - no Wills, Terry, Godfrey (not even a Womack!) and yet it's one of the few tournaments in Europe that offer prize monies for the top places.

Hoyt, Easton, W&W, Matthews etc are also all offering additional prizes for winners using their equipment.

Greenwood Osterley have one club member going, (Glyn Ball, representing IRL). Anyone else's names on there that are AIUK members?

More info here

I couldn't afford it this year so next year I really want it to be my top priority comp. So what if I do rubish it's the taking part what counts so I keep telling myself.
But I think it's one of those things in life you just have to do like Vegas but then Vegas would cost an awfull lot more.

So how about next year sending an AIUK squad ???

The rest simply can't afford to go. (time off work for those of us with a job, plus travel/entry/accom costs).
Thinking about trying to make a few of them next year - Nimes, Vegas, AZ cup, Gold Cup, etc.
