Hi,
Simon was beaten in the semis and shot off for bronze against Marco Galiazzo, which ended I believe 117/117, but must have lost the shoot off. Its a shame, but a brilliant performance. I remember when Simon picked up his bow again in the winter of 2004/2005, I shot along side him, shooting a Portsmouth in Postal League. It must have been one of his first rounds after comming out of retirement and he shot in the 580's, not bad for someone who's rusty! I stood along side him and he spurred me along to shoot a 568. Not bad considering I'd only been shooting for a few months at that time. With Simon and Neil Dowsett at the club - what an asset. And the nicest pair of lads you could wish to meet.
BUT I believe Naomi has made the finals, which is totally fantastic, good luck to her in the finals.
Best wishes,
Steve
