Las Vegas Archery Festival

I am thinking about, maybe, going to the World Archery Festival in Las Vegas next year. Never been before but would welcome any comments or advice. I won't be going with an expectation of winning, more a case of going to experience the event. Doesn't mean I'm not going to shoot the best I can though.

I think Barry (Doh!) went last year (or maybe the year before) - he seemed to have enjoyed himself and put it down as a very worthwhile experience

And apparently what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

*I'm told it gets a bit wild after hours!

I had heard this. Even without imbibing of alcoholic beverages I can manage to make a fool of myself! Most of how I do this wouldn't be news to anyone who knows me though

I've only known Americans (compounders who primarily hunt) who've gone, so I've always viewed Vegas in a certain way. Not negatively, but having that perspective on it, it's something I've never wanted to attend. It would probably be different if I knew a contingent of GNAS types were attending.
