Sherwood Archers double 70m - saturday

Reposted following loss after server transfer:

Congratulations to Greydog for his 1st place, compound and to Steve Brunt for his 3rd place (an associate NCB member - splitter!)

We all had a great day despite the incredible heat and wind. Thanks to the hosts - it was a relaxed fun shoot made great by the laid back judges. Recomended that you add it to your calendar for next year.

You never said hello.

Great two days shooting, came 3rd in double 70m, after they got the count-back sorted, didn't do so well on sunday in the FITA.

Won a prize in each days' raffle.

And a free BBQ on saturday.

Mick

Sorry, I didn't realise you were shooting. I was a bit focused, hot and way too blown about by the wind. I think we met at Eccles the other week didn't we?

Well done For your 3rd place. I only managed 4th compound, but happy as I've only been back shooting a couple of months.

I thought the free BBQ and putting out cold drink for the archers was a nice touch

Hope you didn't win the Centurion lager in the raffle

No probs, whisky, same here. Concentrated on shooting in the wind and only took notice of fellow Dearne Valley members.

Yes, we did meet at Eccles.

The drinks may have started off cold, but the hot blackcurrant at 4pm was a bit different.

Managed the Tetleys on saturday, can't remember the lager I won on sunday, could be Centurion, I'll have to post a photie.

See you around, I'll definitely be there next year.

You'll know the Centurion. A whole 2.1% ABV!! It's so lacking they thought the .1% important to add to the info!

I'll be back too next year, for both days

Jeez Whiskey.....found the font button then

Hi Morphy, sorry we were so ignorant and yes, that blackcurrent had evolved in the sun, I'm sure I could taste melted plastic in there. I had to throw it away and get some tap water in the end

I would say I would be there next year but I think I will be away on a cruise (being the spoilt little rich bitch, my step dad is booking their holiday and added me to the equation )
