| As I believe it, a rose is from an imperial round eg, york / hereford and starts at 800. A start is from a metric round eg, FITA and starts at 1000. I may be wrong as I don't fully understand this myself! ![]()

| How do you apply for one when you qualify? Is it done at the tournament that you shot the qualifing score at?

| Not sure about the FITA star, but for the Rose status there will be forms available from the tournamnet organisers. I guess they have to endorse the claims. Filled one out for my 9 year old on Sunday. He got the 800 rose on the second of a double Bristol IV |

| It should also be noted that FITA Star tournaments are world record status, whereas Rose status shoots are only British record status (since there aren't world records for imperial rounds). A FITA can also be British record status but archers cannot qualify for Star awards. |

| Alex - yes, is the main answer (assuming it was a rose/thistle/star/etc, status shoot). However, if you didn't claim, you might be able to do so after the fact by contacting the organiser and asking them to send you a form. |
