Joe is wright about the team event, a lot of pressure considering the teams who shoot there, but by far the funiest part of the tourney !

Clicky, sad but it won't be possible to have an AIUK there, only real clubs teams are allowed (considering I speak English a little I was asked to help verifying this for a Danish team).

Hope that next year there won't be another important UK event at the same time so some more anchers will be able to attend this tourney : RyanAir have very cheap flights rates from around London to Nimes airport and hotels are cheap in France (about 52 euros per night without breakfast - tourney hotels special fare). Next year I'll post more data to help travelling to Nimes.

Until then, for those who don't know yet were to find the even web site our forum staff had been asked to run at the venue, have a look at http://placedusport2.com/nimes2006/

So here we are again - what constitutes a 'real' club? AIUK is more of a club than many....

Forums are communities, not sporting clubs ... this means that you have to bring your Archery Club membership card or your National Association membership card if your Club name is writen on it (in France our Club is specified on our FFTA membership card).
Believe me, if it had been possible to have an IntegralSport archery forum team there for sure we would have attend the team tourney !

Doume, the Nimes website looks fantastic!!! Only one small complaint...no link to AIUK!

If AIUK were able to get GNAS affiliation, then could enter as a club??

I know it isn't a club - the question has always been "could it be?"

True- i was thinking more about whether airlines view a bow as an offensive weapon therefore won't let it on at all- I know the GBR compound team had problems with this...
