Shropshire Archery Society Double FITA Star
Contrary to a rumour that is doing the tournament circuit right now, the Shropshire Double FITA Star has not been cancelled and will be held at Lilleshall on September 23rd and 24th 2006. This year it is being hosted by Telford Archers and there will be cash awards of 50.00, 30.00 and 20.00 GBP for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the 4 major categories. We have sponsorship and support from local and foreign companies including Carter Enterprises, New Archery Products and Specialty Archery Products; who will all be donating prizes. BowPlus will also be in attendance. If this shoot is a success this year Telford Archers hope to keep it running in the future as a money shoot and doulbe the prize money next year. I'll still be chasing GMB scores by then so I think I'm going to have to do the 2x FITA... plus, the possibility of cash prizes has be interested!
