RE: Skye Festival

Yeah, dude, it's been and gone for this year.

http://www.scottisharchery.org.uk/en...o_Brochure.pdf is this years entry form, can't see it changing much between now and next time.

Make sure you take anti-mosquito stuff, because they'll eat you alive if you don't.

You've never been to Michigan during a hot, humid, wet summer. You could saddle those things and ride them!!! :O</p>

RE: Skye Festival

I'm not sure I agree about the size of 'em - they're usually so small as to be almost indistinguishable but they've got mouths bigger than and are more voracious than the average Great White! ...At least the ones around here (the island group above Skye on the map!) are!

Top Tip - get hold of an Avon product called "Skin So Soft" - it's not a very 'butch' name (I hear Lochaber Mountain Rescue call it 'Triple S' so they aren't thought of as a bunch of shirt-lifting pansies!), and the smell's, well, 'interesting' - but it sure does keep the little b@st@rds from biting! Sadly it doesn't stop 'em from swarming around you (they're attracted to the carbon dioxide that you breathe out, so I'm told), so breathe through your nose when shooting, or you risk inhaling a lungful, which ain't helpful to your grouping!
