AAS Championships, May 19

Anyone know anything about the AAS Champ's being hosted by Lintman AC in Surrey, in May?

It's a "junior only" shoot, up to the age of 18 yr olds, and I understand the round is Junior National through to full National.

It's refreshing to see a kid's only shoot, and I'm keen to get my kid's entry in (assuming it doesnt clash with anything else at the time).

Apparently Lintman have hosted this for a few years now, so I just wondered if anyone's taken their kids there before, and how it went?

The AAS tournaments are great for giving juniors experience of tournaments in a relaxed atmosphere - i.e no dress code for a start. They do adhere though to GNAS rules apart from that. They have their own round - 3 doz each at 2 distances (as opposed to national rounds 4 doz and 2 doz), and their own age groups which are different from GNAS (junior girls anyway).

However..

The indoor has been cancelled (was due next weekend), and I heard from someone at Lintman yesterday at the Guildford FITA that the May shoot might be run by Lintman and not the AAS - but don't quote me on this!
