Lincolnshire County Indoor Champs

The Lincolnshire County Indoor Championships were held at the Matthew Humberstone School in Cleethorpes on the 18th March. Grimsby Archers hosted the event and should be congratulated on the organisation of what was a very enjoyable day. Below is a photo of the Champions and medalists (minus Geoff Thomas who came second in the gents compound)

thank you

On behalf of Grimsby Archers, I thank you for your kind words.

May I add my congratulations to all those who took part and especially those who took home medals and trophies.

I must make a special mention of Jonathan (you know who you are) who came second in the junior recurve, but due to an administrative error, was not awarded the medal and so is missing from the photo.

My thanks also to cllr Steve Hucknall (pictured far right) portfolio holder for leisure and tourism (which for some reason puts him in charge of sport at North East Lincolnshire Council) who kindly agreed to be our Gentleman Patron for the day.

Good photo watch_man

full results will be on the lincolnshire county archery society web site www.lincsarchery.org as soon as I can get round to it

Chris

Many congratulations Chris, Ashley, Freda and the rest of the Grimsby team for making the shoot a most enjoyable one. Also thanks to Kelvin who was the judge on the day who took everything in his stride with a great sense of humour.
Best wishes,
Steve & Max

Chris

both events we have attended at Grimsby have been well organised, we know from our own club how much work goes on behind the scenes and the ladies and gents who setup, tookdown and did all the admin, deserve a pat on the back.

cheers

Trev

Hi Trev,
We went two years ago and it didn't have a lock then - and it still hasn't
Maybe next year you won't have to whistle or sing (we may make a visit to B&Q's on the way in for a bolt, screws and screwdriver!)
Best wishes,
Steve & Max
