Competions in Cumbria
I've had a look on AO but nothing came up. Is anybody organising any competions in the Cumbria area towards the back end of the season.

Started shooting end of last year when my better half, Liz, returned to the sport. We'd both like to do comps but I need a bit more practice before I enter and it would be nice to do them together. Shooting in Cumbria also means we can get the Grandparents to babysit (keeping a 2yr old occupied for a full day while the other shoots would be impossible).

Kendal archery club are hosting their annual comp at ullswater this weekend (22/4) probably too late to enter but the comp is designed to introduce newcomers and is therefore quite relaxed. starts at ten. if the weather is good it is a spectacular venue, on the lakeside at Glenridding. may be worth a look

Happen to be up there this weekend visiting the relatives so might try and have a look if time allows. It would be nice to at least see another competition as the only shoots I've been to are the ones organised by our own club.
