9 arrows per target for 10 dozen... my God there's gonna be a lot of broken arrows.

I tried to persuade our tournament organiser to put Dave Hunter and Neil Crickmore on the same face but darn it he saw through my childish scheme, anyhows there will be plenty of available on the day, see you all there, along with Max, Rgsphoto and Big D.

Either they've got Renee M's category wrong or she's finally been turned away from the Dark-side.

I didn't think she was tall enough for a recurve (unless it's one of Cecile's Elf Bows).

Nope Renee has switched back to the light side (I understand that after much practice with a recurve, she forgot at Blackpool that you are supposed to keep the release aid in your hand)

I know she'd recently changed her technique and was struggling to repeat her previous scores, but I didn't think releasing the release aid was part of the technique.

Would account for a drop in performance though.

Pity she's not a board member, it would definitely be worth a Fonz.

Wink

Renee's shooting recurve for the moment and seems to be doing rather well... in comparison to me! Hopefully the force of the darkside won't be so strong as to draw her back there.

I think you'll be safe, LMP. I had to beg before they would let me shoot at a tri-spot last year. Definitely worthwhile. I walked away with a Yorkshire record because I didn't have any arrows bounce off nocks and out of the 10-ring!
