3 spots by request according to the entry form, 1st come 1st served.

So it looks as if the challenge is back on LMP.

I was really looking forward to Sherwood, but I was not chuffed to see a row of 3 spot faces on the targets!! I'm sure I would crack them if I practiced on them though! I was consistant - scored the same bothe sessions!!

Dont worry LMP, 3 spots by request only (all compounds) as it happens, youre free to blast a single spot 60cm face, with 2 others, mind yer arrows!

Angry

Would ya blummin' know it? I've caught Clicki's cold (or it might have been that guy on the train on Thursday who was coughing and spluttering while walking through the carriage).

I'll definitely make the afternoon session tomorrow, but if I'm not there in the morning, you'll know why.

I'll be there TJ - is this a cunning ploy not to shoot with Neil???

I'd better go check the map to see where to go!!

I didn't make the morning session at Savile, but rgsphoto stepped in and no doubt made the score on 2B more respectable than it would otherwise have been.

I dragged myself off my deathbed for the afternoon session though, and was glad I did -- it was a good shoot, and I shot my best Portsmouth so far this winter. I think I've finally got my alignment sorted, since I didn't have to let down once and had no soreness at all in my bow shoulder during or after the shoot.

LMP won handsomely in the Ladies Recurve, and was just 14 points off the Yorkshire record for the double Portsmouth.

Raffle-wise, I did pretty durn good, and could have done better. After winning my first prize, I drew the next ticket and -- "Oh hang on, it's me again". So I picked a prize and drew another ticket. And...it was me again! I looked at the high, sturdy basketball hoops, some of which had lengths of rope dangling from them, and decided I'd better pass on the third prize.

This moment of weakness in the face of a potential lynch mob cost me in the raffle wars -- LMP and Morphymick were unflinching in grabbing the prizes, three for Tracey and four for Mick.

Thanks to Max, rgsphoto and all at Savile for a great tourney!

Here is a rather sad photo of my winnings.... an aromatherapy hand massage kit, an auto scan radio and a model archery man!!

I won 1st then picked TJ's ticket!!

TJ was kind enough to say I'd won but he didn't let on that I had a miss.....and forgot to put my button in before the sighters!!!!

Thanks to all at Saville for a great shoot - but where were the AIUK cakes?? Cakemeister.....you must enter more comps!!
