Camping at Bronte
The family and I are camping at Bronte next weekend, and haven't been before.

Could anyone tell me what the camping facilities are like - is it just a big field or are their some amenities.

Haven't camped for years so I THINK I'm looking foward to it.

LMP told me there are shower facilities (one big shower room for men, one for women). Don't know what the field is like, but I'm told it has a penchant for flooding.

Nice big field, well sheltered, don't mind BBQ's, not far from the shooting area. DON'T LEAVE STUFF IN LINE TENTS. Lock it in your car or keep it in your tent as the local runts will have anything not chained down. Clubhouse has basic facilites, there's a pub a 5min walk away. It's not bad. Leigh, Buzz, Alice (girlfriend) and Myself are all camping, see you there!

It was under for a day last week but it has recovered well.

There are better flood defences since the last "bad" flood the grounds went though a few years ago.(the club house was a right mess)
