Many Thanks for an Interesting Weekend

With several other members from our club I had a very enjoyable day at Ponteland Archer's Griffin Memorial shoot on Sunday. The leisurely start to the day meant that the intended Western was cut to a National, but the purpose of the day was the memorial shoot. As it was also Ponteland’s 40th anniversary we shot 40 arrows at a 40cm target at 40 yds which was interesting to say the least. Great day had by all, many thanks to Peter and all of his helpers.

yes it was a great day, nice place, enjoyed the day, love to go back next year. . . the griffin round was very well thought out and a good laugh
