Missing Archers

Now I know it's popular to visit Panama by canoe at this time of year but several archers seem to have dropped out of circulation. For a starter Dawn and Terry Ducker, both Yorkshire stalwarts. Secondly, BlueBow from this forum - AKA Raymondo.

I'm sad not to have seen their smiling faces recently. I vaguely know some of what has happened, but at this time of year maybe we should raise a glass "to absent friends!" ?

... er! That's the whole point! Raise a glass to "Absent Archers and old friends!" Now sober up LMP!

I hope Terry's shoulder injury is allowing him to shoot

After Terry's injury, Terry and dawn decided to open a convenience store as it allows both of them to work. so as they were trying to get things sorted, they took a year off shooting. i think they are hoping to be back shooting soon, when they can afford to get people in to mind the shop at weekends.

Thank you all for the contributions. I posted this not just to ask about Terry and Dawn, and, of course, Raymondo (who decamped to the Northeast, but can't quite sever the umbilical cord ) but to ask if there were other noteable absences form the archery world to whom we should be raising a glass and hoping they will resurface in 2008.

It's sort of a "where are they now?" thread, and a "can we get them back?" thread.

I am glad to hear that we ought to be seeing Terry and Dawn back in the foreseeable future, Hypertigger, and I'm sure that GLAD, Bald Eagle, will be very glad to have Raymondo, even if he is perpetually LATE (in joke from Bronte)

Hi Paul, Merry Xmas. Popped in to Dawn and Terry's on the way back from Norfolk in August.

They're doing fine with the shop and archery coaching business in the barn at the rear. Good set-up they have there. Both seemed very happy and things couldn't look rosier for them.

So I'll join you in a toast to all absent friends both on here and on the circuit in general.

CHEERS!!!

Mick
