Y.a.a. Agm 2006

The 2006 Annual General Meeting of the Yorkshire Archery Association will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday 11th March 2006 at Barnsley Archery Club, Barnsley Rugby Club, Shaw Lane, Barnsley.

I'm going to try to get to this. Anyone else going?

Why are acronyms in the subject line getting sentence-cased??? :?

See micro-rant in similar NCAS thread. Don't go expecting the world to shift on its axis. But don't stay away expecting all the little grumbles you have to be heard automatically.

Well it went ahead. No wrecks and nobody drownded - fact, nothing to laugh at at all.
The AGM was just quorate - over 1000 members and we just scrape the 25 needed - thanks to all who did turn up. All the committee was re-elected, perhaps because there were no other nominations. Anyone out there interested in taking up the reins of "Flight Officer"? Even when Seddy brought up the YAA Field Champs the tensions were smoothed over within seconds. But, as I have said elsewhere, you can't grumble if your favourite "pressing issue" was not brought up if you weren't there.
One bit of good news. One of the non-committee members who made up the quorum volunteered to work on the YAA website. Step forward our own, our very own T.J.Mason.
So the caravan rolls on to the NCAS AGM at Wetherby next week. I can't wait
(And then the EAF one the following week - now that should be more fun!)

Well, I can't say you didn't warn me about the perils of not having my hands taped to my sides...

Good luck at EAF!

Still not up and running, Tim.

Come on, you've had all day Sunday while we were at Wakefield.

Well volunteered that man.

Ah. I'm er, I'm waiting for a skip. And -- oh yes, the artwork, heh heh yes that's it, I'm waiting for the artwork.

( Phew, I think that's bought me some time.)
