Yep! In for both days. Pitty about the clash with the Thirsk FITA 900 this year - I would have loved to shoot both, but Bronte won (better sausages and closer to home). We had a great weekend last year, especially the Monday Canadian round. Can't believe it is only a couple of weeks away - not much time for the weather to catch up. I shall therefore be trialling my new low cost 'Thunderbox' bivi - plenty of room to stand up, even if it was designed mainly for sitting down in. At least it has a rigid frame and won't collapse in on me in the wind, like some Star Trek alien life form!

Littlest and I will be there on the Sunday (we have a club Have-A-Go on the Monday). Egad - that means 100 yards sight marks, which means shooting. I knew there was something I should have been doing!

The entry form mentions that there'll be a wand shoot for longbows during lunchtime on the Monday. Does anyone know whether Bronte will be making longbows available or whether we need to bring one?

(Though I probably won't try it -- I always seem to get a nasty arm-slap from longbows.)

Spoted! Drat! I'll be shooting the Canadian 1200 but helping on the Sunday. The weekend before as I have already said, I'm in Shropshire at the Long Mynd 70x2 FITA

They usually dont supply them and you have to bring your own, but I think it would be best to ring the organisers to check!

Thanks Rev. I'm toying with the idea of doing something daft like hacking a bow from a sapling and shooting plant-sticks...
