Fair weather archers. Weather ok untill we had to move the targets at lunchtime. Packed up in the wet. So apart from the weather that we had no control of, any other complaints. Not every ticket was a winning ticket in the raffle, and Bowplus ran out of Beiter 12/1 nocks, but...
It is not the weather (no wind problems) but the wrong clothing. 359/360 at 30m was a good score for 1 archer nearby. I did not enjoy every minute of the 2 and 1/2 days activity, but enough members were there throughout the weekend to support the shoot and make it run as smoothly as posible. Cake and beer on sale also. Alas sadly, no control over the weather on sunday afternoon. Will try and arrange for better weather next time!

No No No, Sundays Weather was perfect. It was that sunny morning nonsense on Saturday that was well... Just Wrong.

I was also a little dissapointed, in not having a pond or ducks this year, but that aside, I once again had a very enjoyable weekend.

Many thanks to all the organisers and helpers.

It was a very well organised shoot, the judges were certainly taken care of under that huge gazebo Sorry I couldn't stay to shoot on sunday, although looking at the amount of rain that came down I'm not too disappointed

We got to exercise our new power of changing someones arrow value after it had been called incorrectly..........although it was nothing new to me as I've always been open to bribery

You would think that!
What Kevin doesn't mention here is that on Sunday he annihilated his pb by shooting over 1240 (can't recall the exact figure) for his first ever 1200!! No wonder he enjoyed it; well done Kevin.

Results online?

Ditto. Astonishing how the desire to spend as little time as possible on the shooting line improves your ability not to overthink your shot...Zen shooting at its finest!

More importantly, though, are the results online yet? I urgently need to submit them to my German county association to qualify for the German county champs (and hopefully Nationals)...if anybody has an electronic copy, would you mind forwarding it to me?

I have a hard copy of the results, I can scan it in and email you if you like, or I can try and attach it to a post like this.........
