No, it does that all by itself once you put it up - Rich, you may not remember the inflatable Igloo tent that was popular in the 1960's. Like a pop-a-bivi, but with inner tubes for poles at each corner, a little round door half way up the side, and (this was the really stupid bit) a sewn in groundsheet. Heavy rain = 1 foot of water in the tent. Saw it happen one morning at a camp site on the east coast - great fun to watch the guy bailing like crazy with a bean tin, like something out of 'Titanic'.

Just the sort of thing I would buyAs long as the ground sheet was air free, a few choice holes would fix it

same here.... I don't think I've shot a full round yet this season, either in competition or practise without being wet or the wind trying to blow me over!

Just about all outdoor sports have to put up with rain. Why should archery be any different? Accept it and get on with it. As i'm sure most people know, Archery is a mental game, if we all turn up with a downer as it's raining what chance do we have shooting well when we get there?

I find it much better than shooting in a cramped poorly lit sports hall any day of the week.

So rain...bring it on..it's all part of the day.

Personally, I've absolutely accepted it. Hency why all my shoots before mid-June are nice cheap local ones where if I decide I really don't care any more and the weather is abysmal, there is no problem whatsoever with packing up and going home.

More seriously, I generally don't enter a competition with any actual intent of coming away with a decent score before the end of May. The weather is simply too unpredictable.
