Well done Grant. Couldn't quite keep in touch after 100 yds on Sunday. But I was pleased with my score. A new PB and my first MB score.

Shot a new PB for the FITA on Sat as well. So had a great weekend. Maybe I am on a high, but I thought the tournament was the best we've had at Wetherby. Even the issue with the lights on the FITA was handled effectively. The tournament was credit to the organisers!

I didn't notice the bees. Guess I must have been 'in the zone' or maybe they swerved to avoid me since I was using suncream with insect repellent in it!

Must say that it was a great weekend.

Enjoyed it both days and Must have been the best weather I have seen at wetherby.

Great way to work on your tan though! Two days standing in a field facing south were as good as a fortnight on a dodgy beach in the Costa Dell Salmonella. So long as you wear a hat to hide the white top to your head and long sleeves to disguise the outline of your arm brace, everyone will think your russet tones cost you at least £500!

Well I did end up with a few dodgy looking sun burns from my visor and my bracer.

It was a great weekend weather wise - I still shot like a muppet but got a PB both days and an 800 rose on Sunday

Yes, harumph. I got one prize, when there were only two identical ones left - a "Carlsberg Official beer of the World Cup" t-shirt. I believe they were donated from the catering suppliers.

I almost forgot!! My final 6 arrows of the weekend ALL went in the gold - my 1st ever 6 gold end, just a shame it was at 50 yards!
