Yorkshire Champs
Well the yorkshire champs are now less than a week away.
Fita on the saturday and a york on the sunday.

Will I be seeing anybody else from the forum shooting.......

Shot my first york at the yorkshires

I thought all yorkshire clubs issued a three-line whip as far as attendance at yorkshire champs is concerned

There's a lovely trophy for the highest novice recurve score (person in the first year of outdoor shooting) up for grabs. So it's a great incentive to shoot a York.

Max & myself have been previous winners of the novice trophy. I didn't know about it when I shot, so was a wonderful surprise after all the effort. Made it worthwhile.

The guy that won it did shoot 840 ish , not bad at all for your first year of shooting

I think I won it with something a bit more modest - 770ish I think.

I'm there both days, shooting on the same target as Max.

Wasn't it radsbow who won the novice trophy last year? Maybe he'll confirm it if he pops in.

Shot a York today in the wind and rain, only 12 points of a Rose, so things are looking good for Sunday.
