So who's in Doncaster on 6th August, eh? Eh?

Last year was a bit of a 'mare for me -- I arrived 10 seconds before sighters were due and never really got settled; my bow was tuned abysmally; and I was the lowest-finishing gents recurver using a sight. And the food was crap. Nice enough bottle of fizz in the raffle, though.

Hopefully I'll be better this year. I know which junction of the M1 to use (and I now know that Doncaster isn't signposted from the M1 when travelling south ), and will bring my own grub. That's bound to result in an earth-shattering score.

I have yet to enter!! I remember being fortunate enough last year NOT to have to walk round the cricket pitch (that doesn't sound right!!). I can't remember whether I won on the raffle or not!

I'll be there and looking forward to it. They always run a lovely shoot and i do agree that the food is 'interesting' so i bring my own. Does anyone know where the target list is?

mmm, the weather was not wet & windy but I'll bet there is an excuse for morphymick not only losing to me but TJ as well

Elly Jelly Belly is on fire at the moment, winning ladies recurve with 797 (and 1 miss!!) and she claimed her 1st 6 gold end. She went on to get another 3 I believe (her 1st dozen at 50 yards scored 108).

I was 2nd and we won the team score.

Little Longbow won his section with a pb (can't remember what round he was shooting).

As for the raffle, morphymick and I bombed out again! TJ won twice and Little Longbow once.

I think that about covers it, sorry if I have missed anyone!
