2005 GNAM: Anyone going?

Who's going? Apart from me.

RE: GNAM: Anyone going?

Target 7 with Michelle from our club (Yorks ladies champ). Serious competition.

Watch out for Danielle's bow, she managed to whack Renee Metcalfe with it on sunday and put her in hospital. Must find out if she's ok.

RE: GNAM: Anyone going?

I like to have good competition hahahahahahahahaha, I'm not expecting miracles but I did shoot a hereford on Monday to give me an idea of what my score would / should be and I scared the living daylights out of myself. I can proudly say I scored 761 which is 1st class - I'm well impressed with that - I just have no idea how I managed it or how I'm gonna live up to it. lol

RE: GNAM: Anyone going?

When you say you shot a Hereford, I hope it wasn't one of these. LOL

Depends which GNAM you are talking about - this thread is in Northern Counties so I presume is the Grand Northern Archery Meeting. Can't actually see when that is ??

Agree the threads should be closed and new ones started (with years on the title)

Isn't it rather confusing to have two "GNAMs"?

Perhaps we should have a sticky saying that years should be included in all Tournament Information thread titles. This has happened before!

As I recall, the Grand Northern started first, and when the national one was built on the Northern model it was felt that there had to be a similarly "Grand" title. Again, my memory may be faulty, but I think the Grand National Archery Society was the society set up to run the Grand National Archery Meeting.
In which case, the national meeting should cede precedence, and call itself the AGBM
