| One of our novice archers is attending as her first competition and is on the same target as FA606 miles from the rest of the club. Please look after her for us.

| I will................not be there! Sadly the DNAA champs are on the same day. So although in my mind I'm a Yorkshireman, my club is affiliated to the DNAA so I'm shooting there. Good luck to everyone ( the Gents recurves' can now breathe a sigh of relief).

| It was too nice to be indoors, but there was a county indoor championship to decide. Wakefield Archers provided the venue, the field party and the rather superb catering. Stoked up with a fabulous sausage sarnie, I went in confident. Quite a few people from the morning session had shot badly by their own standards - surprising. I was expecting Miles to be in contention for a medal, but he'd had a bad one. My own shooting started with a stonking 57 half-dozen and finished with a blistering 59. Inbetween...arrrrrrr, good enough for 547. Best I've shot since last time I was at Wakefield, so I'm happy. YAA Secretary Dave Phillips presented record certificates to Big Bird, FieldArcher606 and...me, among others. He had the good grace not to read out the embarrassingly low scores I got my records with, but I suppose they'll have to go on the YAA website now. ![]() Andrew Neal officiated, with EllyJellyBelly as Lady Paramount. Congratulations to David Nordoff, Big Bird, FieldArcher606, Big D, Fox, Little Longbow, Birley and the victims of my lousy memory. The clear winner in the raffle was Littlest Furface - three prizes for the little minx. Her dad ran the raffle and endured the cries of "fix". LMP and Sarahb007 got prizes too - Mick and I were wiped out. Many thanks to Wakefield Archers for a grand job in all departments. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| For the record... the MM V LMP 2006/2007 indoor vendetta has closed on a draw . It has been very close all season really with most shoots being about 6 points difference between us!!! Today I won on golds ![]()
