I spoke to Hilary on Saturday and she said that there was only places left on the morning shoot. Afternoon shoot was fully booked up over 3 weeks ago.

Rgds.

See you there Miles.

LMP and Womble should be helping out.

Hopefully keeping us supplied with cake.

Janet & Steve from LUU are shooting in the afternoon, so I just have to wait to hear from them as to how we've done. Should be fun - early start though. Again. :-(.

Had a good afternoon at the Aire Valley Christmas Cracker shoot -- met Morphymick, Furface, Littlest Furface, Trunkles, Pete T, spotted sky_high30 but he was gone before I had a chance to say hi. Also saw Niggle "Nigel" Smethurst, former workmate and membership secretary of White Rose Archers, and Mike Watson, chairman of my club. And the Aardvark guys, o'course. Apologies if I've missed anyone.

My score was, for once, bordering on respectability. I'm wondering whether our scorer might have got his sums wrong...

No errors on the raffle, mind ye!

Well, alright, I was actually in competition with Littlest Furface for the stuffed aardvark. She got it, I missed. Aardvark, advocaat...easy mistake to make.

I'm not surprised- TJ & Mick & Helena had the raffle sewn up between them, no-one else could get a ticket!!!!

Mate, today was a complete comedy of errors.

1. Slept in. I woke up at 8:50. Manic driving ensued (if it was anything other than a normal competition (IE Record Status) then I would have stayed in bed. Arrived at 1015, was on the shooting line at 1030 - The comp having been held up so that the rest of Leeds could arrive.

2. Broke 2 nocks, and realised I was missing off the scorelist. Lost an end sorting that out, and neglected to tell the judges until after the whistle went

3. Probably appeared on pretty much every speed camera between Bradford and Keighley, via Halifax. Coming soon to a "Police, Camera, ACTION" show near you in time for christmas guys ;-). Dirty Renault Megane.

Despite all that ####, still managed 525 - with no sighters and minimum practice. Oh well...Time for a few weeks off from competition. Spent the afternoon getting splinters from bosses. Which hurt. Any idea of the team prizes? I completely missed the raffle, most annoying. Though I do remember muttering something about AIUK having it sewn up...
