Its quite interesting to see the difference in the score range between the men and women - 100 points between first and sixth for the men and around 450 for the women.

Is this how the sums are done then...adding on to the first stage?

It seems a little odd since form could have changed a lot from the first stage.

I think that's the idea - no one can get through on the strength of one good shoot. Consistency is required.

as someone from way over the ditch, am i correct in assuming that the team selections have not been finalised as yet??
as you know the Aussies have made their selections and have done for a while now, do we have an advantage or less of one? having made the selections so early.
do we have an advantage in knowing the team is selected and they can get on and gel as a team and continue training to reach their peak?
or is it a dissadvantage in having a team selected with the possibility that the archers who were close to being selected peaking at their best performances around the time of the olympics but not being on the team??

Running score total is a bad idea, IMHO. Simon T is on par in the top 3 but still 80 points behind. He's being punished for something that happened over two months ago.
