you've obviously not listened to TMS recently then. THis series against the Saffas has had the usuals and then Mark Pugash and Arlo White? neither of whom know much about cricket.

Attendance at the ground looks high at all stages - a welcome contrast from those empty terraces at Athens. Does anyone know what the attendance figures have been?

Tim, do you know the Chinese have squads that go round an fill up seats at the various venues and cheer to try and encourage others to do so? This was mentioned today on the BBC.

The Americans have been doing that for years at major televised events, most notably, the Oscars ....

Its not the only thing the Chinese adjusted (faked) for appearance

Oh well. Makes things look better on the highlight programmes though.

Yeah, I've heard most of the crowd at the Oscars are actually actors.

I have been totally amazed at the amount of archery coverage
Well done the BBC and Eurosport.
Being able to see not just medal matches but also live 32 & 16 knock out rounds, even that was unheard of 4 years ago.
TBH I dont care if we now shoot on courts not ranges "the arrow was in I saw the chalk dust"
Infact the coverage has bought much credit and appreciation and those long shots help people to understand how hard it is to get the arrows in the middle. I think this will do more than Robin Hood or Lord of the Rings for membership numbers over the next 12 months.

Even the highlights are worth watching I still remeber the 1 minute in total devoted to Simons acheivements all those years ago. In fact the stopping of his dole money got more attention.
