our clubs annual spring cup today but conditions were anything BUT springlike (7 degrees - wet - 20mph and gusting cross winds) - we were due to shoot a western either side of a barbecue lunch but decided to cut it down to just a warwick since hypothermia isnt that pleasant - i was hoping to have some nice sunny photos to show of the event but despite the best efforts of the BBC forecast to clear things up all i got was these -
determined to still have a barbecue after the curtailed shoot we moved it 'indoors' but the gazebo / potentially very large kite quickly became everyones tent any time there was a break in shooting
thanks to conditions
GNAS dress code was less than strictly upheld - but (heehee) at least everyone looks happy to be out in the - erm - fresh air shooting
tim (narrowboat) realises i might beat him for once - or maybe he just doesnt like having his photo taken (who can blame him ? )
we didnt really need this to judge the wind (mostly just feeling the effect on your longrod was enough)
short video to try and let you see (and hear) what we were shooting in -
